I was feeling inspired by the colour change that is happening around me as the weather changes this month. The place where we live in Corfu is slowly closing for the winter and becoming very quiet. The weather is still hot in the day but cold at night. My parents are visiting for a couple of weeks and have been enjoying the weather and having the beach (almost) to themselves.
We went for a walk in Kassiopi today and I soaked up some colour inspiration for new ideas. The browns, greys and hints of green will go well with my ideas for using up some chunky yarns I have left over in my stash. They are great yarns (Rowan Big Wool mainly!) to knit up something quick as you need 10mm needles.
After a walk (and some shopping!) we had a nice drink and Baklava in a coffee shop by the harbour. It was a beautiful clear day and you could see Saranda in Albania clearly across the water. I love a Sunday afternoon in Kassiopi!
