I have been looking at feature walls with inspiration taped next to the desk area. I found the following images on Pinterest and have been inspired to try my own inspiration wall, adding images and quotes. The walls in my own workspace feel a bit bare, except for the clock and a mood board. I remember at University in my workspace the images on the walls had to be changed every week to reflect fresh research. I just use my Pinterest account for all of my images that I collect now, but it would be nice to have something pretty to look at around me.
To get started I made a collection of images I wanted to use, which included postcards collected from galleries, photocopies of pages from books, torn out pages from magazines (those free papers you get with an issue of MollieMakes), photographs and my own prints.
I put the music on and started to decorate, placing items together in a collage, the wash tape is safe to use as it doesn't take the paint off your walls or damage your postcards.
I'm feeling more inspired now that I can look around and see all of the different images. Some of the postcards are of illustrated animals and some of colours and patterns I admire.
