I like to watch old movies sometimes when I knit and get my collection of musicals out like Funny Girl and Gigi. Other times I like to catch up on BBC dramas like Doctor Foster (have you seen that?).

Anyway, I’m making hats and scarves right now and orders from Etsy. There are just so many things I want to knit and not enough time!

There are so many fall knits for kids that are great for beginners, like the apple hat and the chunky blanket pattern below.

Child’s Sweater Knitting Pattern

Make a gorgeous sweater for a child aged 4-6 years with a bubble stitch pattern designed by Brought Up By Wolves.

“The inspiration for this sweater came from the interesting texture of bubble wrap stitch. This is a very simple design with a keyhole on the nape that closes with two buttons.

The sweater is knit from the top down in the round, with no seams. The sleeves are knit two at a time in the round, and finally, the body is knit in the round.”
