This chunky snood is a quick and easy knit, perfect for beginners. The winter snood is knitted using a repeated pattern and will keep you warm during the colder months, as it is knit with chunky yarn.
It is very versatile, as it can be worn up to cover your head when it is really cold or snowing, or worn down to keep your neck warm.

Snood Knitting Pattern
10 mm Circular Knitting Needles
Chunky yarn - I used Delfino Tweed Country in shade 335 from a local yarn store here in Corfu, Greece. You could substitute this with any yarn that is for size 10mm needles (US 15).
Darning Needle / Scissors
Cast on 101 stitches.
Row 1 - Purl
Row 2 - Knit
Row 3 - Knit
Row 4 - Knit
Row 5 - Purl
Repeat rows *2-5* to form the pattern
Continue until the piece measures 18"
Cast off - Knitwise.
Approx = Approximately
Beg = Begin(ning)
Cont = Continue(ing)
K = Knit
K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together
P - Purl
M1 = Make 1 stitch
Rem = Remaining
Rep = Repeat
Rnd(s) = Round(s)
SKPO - Slip one, knit one
St(s) = Stitch(es)
