Last week was literally a wash out with torrential rain falling (loudly) every day. I have spent most days keeping warm and knitting, finishing off projects and starting new ones.
I have also been reading the book Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L.James as the hype surrounding the movie has made me want to read the book again (which I first read years ago and couldn't really remember the story - just that it was a bit rude).
Inspired by the colour grey and the grey weather we have been having, I found some fashion inspiration on Pinterest for staying in and being comfy. I have been wearing my grey Pineapple sweatpants and a knitted sweater with Harry Potter socks and have drank many cups of green tea with honey this week.
Also thinking about Mr.Grey's stormy personality and various mood swings I found some images (on Pinterest) that make me think of the book. Love it or loathe it, it is a story that reminds me of countless Mills and Boon romance books I have read (with a bit more kink). I'm going to start reading the second book later as I want to know what is going to happen.
The colour grey is truly a beautiful with all of it's different shades. Looking at the grey images below makes me want to knit something grey. I have some new Sublime baby cash-merino yarn I haven't used yet which would make lovely soft grey bunnies.
