If you are looking to create a capsule wardrobe for your pregnancy, and have been finding it difficult knowing how to style your blossoming baby bump take a look at my other posts on building a capsule wardrobe during pregnancy.

I have been searching (in another post) for amazing finds for your capsule wardrobe during pregnancy, with key pieces that will see you through spring, summer and beyond.

I have selected some must-have items that will keep you looking amazing but are also easy to wear.

Here is a breakdown of what you will need to create a stunning look for the holidays >

Going For Gold

Choosing a gold dress can make you look both elegant and festive this season.

You don’t have to think that if you wear a gold dress you will look like a Christmas bauble! there are many options, from soft, subtle gold to bolder sequinned choices.

A gold top half with a black skirt (second image) would be a great look for a New Years party or a Christmas ball.

The maxi dresses by Tiffany Rose offer a more sophisticated look, while the shorter swing dress from ASOS maternity is possibly a more affordable choice, that can be worn for many occasions after the Christmas period.

Festive Red

Wearing a bold red dress will make sure you are seen and look super festive this season.

From ASOS’s maternity wear (the first image) this red maternity dress could be worn to an office Christmas lunch or party.

The Tiffany Rose dresses have a satin sash or ribbon around the waist for definition, this is known as their signature look.

Be Bold In Blue Or Green

When dressing up for a party during your pregnancy, don’t be afraid of colour.

You don’t have to go for the easy option and choose black, you can look at the shades that suit you.

Choose a dress with a close-fitting style that will flatter your curves.

The empire waistline maxi dress is a great example of how a party dress can show off and flatter your curves.

Neutral In Taupe

Going for a more neutral colour like taupe can add luxury to your Christmas party outfit.

The wrap dresses are a great style to go for as they can easily be worn throughout your pregnancy.

This colour is a classic, dressed up with pretty accessories, for example with a satin clutch and heels in a similar shade.

The Classic Black LBD

For Christmas parties, you can’t go wrong with a classic LBD.

Black always looks stylish and smart, as you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

You can add a sequinned clutch and kitten heels for the office party or New Years Eve celebration.
