Women’s Chunky Hat Knitting Pattern

To keep warm and cosy in the cold weather, you should definitely make yourself a hat.

The hat pattern I am sharing in this post is one of my favourites!

It uses soft and chunky yarn that knits up quick.

I used YarnArt Alpine Alpaca in three different neutral colours for the hat and made an extra-large pom.

I wore this knitted hat on a recent visit to Mon Repos here in Corfu, Greece.

If you have ever visited the island of Corfu, this is one of the tourist stops as it is a great park with a manor house on the grounds.

The History Of Mon Repos

It has a lot of history surrounding it and it is where Prince Phillip was born in 1921.

If like me you have been watching The Crown on Netflix, Prince Phillip was born here in Corfu before his family were exiled.

It is such a beautiful place to visit and walk around, I have never been in the house (but have always wanted to go in) as we normally visit in the late afternoon, or on Sundays, when the main house is closed.

This is one of the places we take Jason (our dog) for a walk and to just enjoy the beauty of the grounds.
