Christmas is the time to have lots and lots of festive fun!
Making sweet little crochet Christmas ornaments or a crochet Christmas tree could be just the project you need to get into the holiday spirit.
If you are counting the days until you are taking a cosy break for Christmas then you are not alone! You still have time to make little gifts or Christmas crochet decorations.
The thing I love about making stuff for Christmas is that you can use it year after year, the handmade ornaments I have for my tree have been used over the past 8 years at least and are still going strong.
My favourite tree decorations include huge poms in red and white, stitched animals made from felt and knit Christmas trees.
We hang them up every year along with wooden ornaments and some ornaments that we had when I was a kid.
The great thing about being able to make your own crochet Christmas decorations is that they always look amazing – crochet little amigurumi gingerbread people, a baby Santa hat or an elf wearing striped socks this year.
*Don’t forget to pin and share!*
Just imagine how your home and tree could look this year full of homemade decorations – you could choose a colour theme in traditional colours, for example, red, white and green or go with something different in your own style.
Impress your loved ones with your mad crochet skills – by making little elves, Santa’s, gingerbread people, trees, and stockings.
Everything you make can also be personalised – by changing the colours to adding your own personal stamp on things.
You could add initials for each member of the family, or if you are giving as a gift – embroider the name of the recipient somewhere onto the item.
