I will also give you a breakdown of all the good stuff that happened with Handy Little Me during 2021.
A Year In Review
Starting the year off with a couple of collaborations, 2021 was a great year for Handy Little Me.
There was a partnership with a yarn company, an interview, and more.
Plus I released lots of new patterns throughout the year, including new sweaters like the one below.
Martin’s Lab Yarn Collaboration
I collaborated with Martin’s Lab on a few knitting and crochet designs featuring their gorgeous hand-dyed yarns.
There were 6 summer crochet patterns including this Diana Triangle Shawl Crochet Pattern and 4 knitting patterns including this Shades Of Water Shawl Knitting Pattern
I also created an easy top-down crescent shawl knitting pattern made from one of their beautiful fingering yarns in the color Inferno.

Plus I designed 6 crochet bags that are featured in this book – Weekend Makes: Crocheted Bags: 25 Quick and Easy Projects To Make published by Quail Studio.
Ranging from everyday bags – a tote bag, a crossbody bag, and phone case to toy storage bags and a WIP (work in progress) bag.

There was also an Interview in Let’s Knit Magazine…
Louise Bollanos was interviewed in the Aug 2021 issue of Lets’s Knit Magazine (UK) and was made their maker of the month on Instagram.
The interview featured 9 images from my Instagram grid that I then answered questions about.
It was amazing to be in a knitting magazine and I am really grateful for that.
And a shout-out from actor Graham McTavish…
We can’t forget the video message from actor Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie from Outlander) giving us a lovely message.
He is a fan of the Outlander knits on the site and we shared the video for you to see.

Knitting and crocheting have been fantastic ways to help us get through the toughest of times.

I’m so happy that I could be a part of your maker journey and provide you with patterns, tutorials, and help.
