THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS THAT SUPPORT HANDY LITTLE ME CONTENT AND FREE PATTERNS.In this post, you will see a crochet bathroom basket pattern.
This is part of a bathroom set of crochet patterns that you can make, which includes a crochet shower puff, washcloths, face scrubbers, and soap bags.
All items in the crochet bathroom set will be perfect for gifting or selling at craft fairs.
The bathroom set could also be a special spa treat gift for anyone who needs a bit of pampering, paired with organic homemade soaps and shower gels.
What Is The Best Yarn To Use To Crochet A Basket?
The best yarn to use for crocheting a basket is a sturdy, durable yarn with good structure to help the basket hold its shape.
Cotton yarn is a popular choice because it’s strong, slightly stiff, and easy to work with—especially for items like bathroom baskets or storage containers.
For an even firmer finish, you can double up your yarn, use a bulky weight cotton, or opt for t-shirt yarn or rope-style yarn, which add extra thickness and stability.
Avoid soft or stretchy yarns like acrylic, as they can make the basket floppy and less functional.

Notes
Skill Level – Easy
Great for a small storage solution (with some sturdiness), you can make a basket to store bathroom items, small toys, and more.
You could make this using a larger hook size and super bulky weight yarn (like Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick) to make a basket for blankets.
The pattern is fairly straight forward and even if you are new to crochet, you will be able to make a set.
This project requires you to be able to create a chain, and work in basic crochet stitches – single crochet.
