Outlander Claire’s Cowl – Seen In Outlander Season 1
If you have been watching the Outlander TV series, in season one, Claire wore a very distinctive chunky knit cowl.
Inspired by the knitted cowl she wears during her travels into the past, this is knit in garter stitch.
The design of this cowl is made in one piece, then seamed, so that you can wrap it around your neck twice.
The Design Inspiration – Claire’s Cowl Outlander
Inspired by Claire Fraser wearing beautiful knitted pieces, the cowl is a great beginner project.
If you have never knit anything before, this would be a really easy accessory for you to begin with.
The Claire cowl is knit on large needles with super bulky yarn, in one long piece.
The ends are then sewn together to make it into one piece that can easily be wrapped around the neck twice.
