Easy Knitting Patterns

Making hats is what I like to do in the fall, from chunky yarns that are super soft, in a variety of colours and patterns.

About how much yarn (yards or skeins) would I need for a basic cap sleeve medium cardigan? I would use the worsted weight yarn.
Lisa says
Unfortunately, your question is just too vague to be answered here. I’ve been knitting for 50 years and wouldn’t even attempt a guess without knowing the gauge of the pattern you intend to use. There is a big difference between yards and skeins even of the same weight yarn. The average medium sweater usually takes about 1200 to 1600 grams of yarn but this again is dependent on the weight of yarn and what pattern is being used.
